TALKING TO PEOPLE across St James, the answers are almost always the same:
● Do something about the parking
● Stop the flytipping, and rubbish blowing about everywhere AFTER the bin men have been
● Do something about the match day traffic
● Sort out the terrible roads
● Keep the flats in good repair
SINCE I was elected as your councillor in May 2013 I have been working on all these issues, and many more personal issues for individuals.
THE Conservatives run both councils and they are asking you to support them.
THEY don’t do enough in St James and they are wasting money – £6M to open up the top of Abington Street to traffic, wasting money on glossy leaflets when they should be repairing the lifts in Devonshire house, claiming credit for the new station and the Enterprise Zone when other people did the work!
