THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVE WRITTEN TO OBJECT to this proposed development (Bloor Homes application N/2013/1325 for 69 dwellings) should have received a letter dated 10/04/2014 advising you that an amended plan has been submitted for this site.

This means that your previous letter of objection no longer applies, and you need to write to the Borough Council yet again outlining your objections to this proposal. Developers frequently submit and resubmit applications, partly to offer solutions to objections raised, and partly to reduce the number of objections, as people get tired of writing. So don’t get tired, and please send your letters and emails again before 1 May!

Yesterday a planning officer confirmed to me that the application would come forward to Planning Committee on Tuesday 6 May. This means that we need to meet again before then to discuss the approach to be taken at that meeting.

Camp Hill Community Centre (Dayrell Road) large hall is available on Monday evenings. Monday 5 May is a Bank Holiday and is too late, so I have booked the centre for Monday 28 April from 7.30pm – 9pm. Apologies if this is slightly short notice, I’ve been chasing planning officers, but I only heard yesterday (24 April) that the date of 6 May was confirmed.
