A large number of changes will be made to bus services in Northampton as follows:

From 9 June 2013
• Stagecoach service 8 from Bicester to Weston Favell via the Bus Station is extended to Rectory Farm. The frequency between the Bus Station and Rectory Farm will be increased from every 30 to every 20 minutes
• First’s service 12 from the Bus Station to Camp Hill will be withdrawn. An alternative will be provided by Stagecoach’s existing service 12
• Stagecoach services 16 and 17 from Ecton Brook to the Bus Station will be extended to Obelisk Rise via Harborough Road
• Service 23 from the Bus Station to Brackmills will be withdrawn by First and taken over by Country Lion on the existing timetable
• Service 28 from the Bus Station to West Hunsbury will be withdrawn by First. An alternative facility will be provided by Stagecoach existing service 10
• Services 29 and 30 from the Bus Station to Kings Heath will be withdrawn by First. Alternatives are Stagecoach’s existing service 12 and Meridian Bus’s existing service 31. The direct service from Gladstone Road to St James’ Square and rail station is withdrawn

From 23 June 2013
• Stagecoach service 7 from the university via Moulton Park is extended to Grange Park
• Service 15 from the Bus Station to Grange Park is withdrawn and replaced by service 7
• On Sundays service 39 from the Bus Station to Moulton village is renamed service 7
