PEOPLE in West Hunsbury are a bit confused.

I told them they were getting fortnightly brown bin collections back in June, and they have just received a calendar for 2011/12 showing monthly brown bin collections.

DON’T WORRY, the calendars were printed months ago, and needed to be issued now to update residents on the collection arrangements for the new council year. When the new schedules are finalised,  including fortnightly brown bin collections, fresh calendars will be issued – quite soon now.

I DID mean what I said – they are being restored in June.
