THERE ARE local elections for Northampton Borough Council on Thursday 5th May.
There is also a Referendum on the voting system used to elect MPs to the House of Commons.

IF YOU ARE NOT REGISTERED to vote or need a postal vote you can apply here on-line or by post.
Please note: You must apply by 5pm on 14 April. If you are moving you can have your postal vote sent to your new address.
At Northampton Borough Council elections in 2007, the Liberal Democrats took control with 26 seats, Conservatives 15, Labour 5, Independent 1. The last time the Liberal Party was in control was in the 1920s.
